Providing all round visibility for commercial vehicles and mobile plant.

Blue screen or ‘No signal’ message indicates that the channel input selected for display is not receiving a camera video signal.
Press the CA SEL button on the monitor to scroll through the channels the monitor is tuned to. (4 presses will cover all possible channels in any of our products.)
If the problem is still not fixed, check cables to cameras for obvious signs of damage – if none, return device to Brigade.
If monitor is shown to be working but customer does not know how to configure it to their requirements, put call through to workshop / engineering for them to talk customer through monitor menus.
A poor cable connection will result in intermittent function of the system.
Check all cable connections.
Do not return system until soundness of all cable connections has been confirmed.
Delay holds the monitor on between flashes of the indicator. If the delay setting is shorter than the gap between indicator flashes, the monitor will go off and come back on again when the indicator flashes.
Check that the delay setting on the monitor is 2 to 3 seconds.
If the customer is sure the delay setting is longer than the gap between indicator flashes and screen still keeps going off with the indicators, then if the warranty is still in force, return the monitor to Brigade.
Someone has changed the colour, brightness or contrast settings on the monitor.
If customer knows how to adjust colour, brightness and contrast, suggest they try doing so.
If customer does not know how to adjust colour, brightness and contrast, put call through to workshop / engineering for them to talk customer through monitor menus.
Obscuring the camera screen in any way will adversely affect the picture quality shown on the monitor.
Image on the monitor is most easily seen from straight on.
Check that camera is clean and that camera and monitor are pointing in the right direction.
Do not return device if camera screen is dirty or scratched as this is not covered by our warranty.
A fault in the earth for the rear light cluster can cause a current feedback through the reverse light circuit, which can cause the monitor to come on.
Check that brake lights come on fully when brake pedal is pressed and that other lights are not affected or
check that rear lights come on fully.
Do not return monitor until correct function of earth for the rear light cluster has been confirmed
A fault in the earth for the rear light cluster can cause a current feedback through the reverse light circuit, which can cause the device to activate.
Check that brake lights come on fully when brake pedal is pressed and that other lights are not affected or check that rear lights come on fully.
Do not return device until correct function of earth for the rear light cluster has been confirmed.
Device is usually wired into the reverse light circuit and will not work if reverse light has no power.
Check reverse lights are working correctly.
Do not return device until correct operation of reverse lighting circuit has been confirmed.
The slide switch has 3 positions, which govern volume:
High, Medium, Off
If the in-cab buzzer is hexagonal, check that the slide-switch on its underside has not been moved to the wrong position.
Do not return device until correct position of the slide-switch is confirmed.
Heavy coverings of dirt can reduce volume of reverse alarms and can cause backscan to trigger at incorrect distance.
Check that reverse alarm grille or backscan sensors are clean.
Do not return device until contamination by dirt has been eliminated as a possible cause of problems. (Note that reverse alarms/backscan sensors can be jet-washed, but must not be steam-cleaned).

Systems providing quality video and data records. Help prevent false insurance claims, deter theft and vandalism and motivate driver best practice.
Our pioneering reversing alarms range includes bbs-tek white sound alarms - the safest in the world due to their instant locatability and directional sound.
Robust long range radar sensor systems designed for harsh conditions.
Inform driver of distance between vehicle and moving or stationary obstacles.
Sensor systems for road going commercial vehicles regularly operating in confined spaces or manoeuvring at low speeds. Ultrasonic Proximity Sensors are the best sensors to help commercial vehicles operate in these confined spaces, making the task at hand, that much easier.
The Brigade Electronics Infrared Thermal Imaging Camera systems enable drivers to see objects by detecting differences in temperature, improving visibility and reaction times and therefore reducing the risk of accidents, particularly in the dark or in harsh weather conditions.
A Thermal Image Camera is used in a variety of industries, we're all well aware of spies and the armed forces using them in action, but in relation to vehicle safety these cameras are used to help drivers to see things that would otherwise remain hidden.
In the winter season for example, fog is a dangerous hazard that everyone faces. Eliminate some dangers by using one of Brigades' Thermal Imaging Cameras which allows you to see clearly through the fog by identifying heat sources from other road users or pedestrians, allowing you to identify the hazards around you and arrive safely at your destination.
