  • The Freight Transport Association
    FTA

    The Freight Transport Association is one of the largest trade associations in the UK, representing 12,000 companies who operate over 200,000 freight vehicles and over 90 per cent of the freight moved by rail and over 70 per cent of sea and air freight.

    The FTA provides members with training to ensure compliance and auditing services to assess drivers' hours and vehicle maintenance processes to ensure compliance to the operator license regulations. Brigade is a member of the FTA and regularly attends compliance seminars held by the organisation. The FTA also sell Brigade products on its online shop.

  • The Noise Abatement Society
    NAS

    The Noise Abatement Society is a charity that campaigns, educates and develops best practise programmes to reduce noise pollution. The Society also educates and raises awareness of the hazardous effects of noise on health and stress related illnesses and its direct contribution to hearing disabilities. The Noise Abatement Society endorses white sound reversing alarms (bbs-tek) for their ability to reduce noise nuisance or reversing vehicles.

    Brake

    Brake is a road safety charity set up to to prevent death and injury on the roads through education and campaigning. Brake also offers services to care for people or affected by serious injury in a road crash through support services. Brigade is a corporate sponsor of Brake.

     

  • The Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders
    SMMT

    The Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) supports and promotes the interests of the UK automotive industry. SMMT acts as the voice of the motor industry, promoting its position to government, stakeholders and the media. Brigade are members of the SMMT

  • The Mobile Electronics and Security Federation
    MESF

    The Mobile Electronics and Security Federation (MESF) is a trade body providing information and training, to set a benchmark for technicians across the automotive industry. Brigade are working towards the MESF accreditation.
