Brake the road safety charity
2008 Fleet Safety Forum Award for Vehicle Safety from Brake

Brake is a road safety charity set up to try and reduce death and injury on the roads through education of all road users and campaigning for road safety and to care for people bereaved or affected. The Fleet Safety Forum award for Excellence, recognises initiatives being undertaken to reduce risks associated with at-work driving.

The NAS/ PIEK scheme
2008 NAS / PIEK certificate for quiet technology used during night time deliveries.

The NAS/ PIEK scheme emerged as a result of close co-operation between the NAS, the Dutch authority set up to regulate noise levels for quiet night time deliveries in the Netherlands, the Freight Transport Association and Dublin University. Technologies certified by the scheme can be used during night time deliveries without disturbing residents.

2005 Noise Management Innovations Award from the Society of Automotive Engineers.

SAE-UK is an organisation for Engineers and scientists to develop technical information on all vehicles including automobiles, trucks and buses, off-highway equipment, aircraft, aerospace vehicles, marine, rail, and transit systems. SAE-UK disseminates this information through its meetings, books, technical papers, magazines, standards, reports, professional development programmes, and electronic databases.

The John Connell Awards recognise local authorities and organisations that reduce the impact of noise nuisance through service or products.
